Account Executive - Renewals & Customer Success
We are seeking two Account Executives to manage our government contract bidding clients across India. The Account Executive will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of accounts and will be responsible for renewals, issue resolution, client communication, and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
This role is suited for someone comfortable with data-heavy technical products, confident over calls and email, and able to build lasting relationships with traditional SME and enterprise clients. As the team grows, the role will shift toward ownership of account relationships, negotiations, and mentoring new joinees while routine support and follow-up tasks are gradually handed over.
Responsibilities
- Own renewals for an assigned portfolio of government contract bidding clients across India.
- Act as the primary contact for client communication over calls, email, WhatsApp, and meetings.
- Understand client usage, resolve issues, coordinate internally, and ensure timely follow-through.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and support renewals and expansion conversations.
- Maintain accurate account notes, renewal status, client context, and follow-up plans in the internal tracking system.
- Develop toward account ownership, negotiation, and mentoring newer team members as the function scales.
Requirements
- Graduation is mandatory.
- MBA is mandatory.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a technology company is mandatory.
- The 2 years of technology-company experience may be before MBA or after MBA.
- Relevant experience in account management, customer success, renewals, sales, client support, or product support is preferred.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills, with comfort handling traditional SME and enterprise clients.
- Ability to understand data-heavy technical products and explain value clearly to clients.
- Must be available to work on-site from Indiranagar, Bengaluru.
